Recruiting and training members of the workforce is a primary concern of the highway construction industry. Attracting and retaining qualified workers is critical to the success of our industry. KCA continues to develop the resources required to meet these workforce challenges for its members at all levels of the construction business.

KCA Craft Worker Training
Beginning in 2007, KCA is developing a state-of-the-art craft worker training program with courses scheduled at numerous locations throughout Kansas. Courses are developed by industry specialists to meet the specific needs of contractors. In addition to these "public" courses--covering virtually every member specialty--customized in-house training services are also available for interested contractors on any topic. In-house courses are generally held at your site, using your equipment, exclusively for your employees. Both public and custom courses may be eligible for KDOT training fund cost reimbursement. KCA offers a comprehensive catalogue of training & education videos, handbooks & manuals. A variety of safety training video tapes, produced and distributed by AGC of America, are available from the KCA office to facilitate your training programs. Sample titles include:
